Born in Sadharanpur, District Bulandshahr, India on 25 December 1961. Dr. SP Singh obtained her Masters degree in Agronomy from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut, (UP). Existing Organization: GM Agronomy in Technico Agri. Sciences Ltd from October 2001. Major assignments: ICAR (National Research Center For Agro Forestry): Managed farm and assist research projects form April 1989 to April 1990. NDDB (Fruit & Vegetable project): (1990 to 2001). Established procurement centers for potato/vegetables in various part of country to eliminate middlemen from supply chain. Also launched production enhancement program in the country with the help of foreigner experts to increase framer income. Technico: Got trained in Australia, lsrael & Established early generation potato seed production program in the country. Raised availability of good quality potato seed in the country for the benefit of farmers & ensure food security. Provided support and consultancy to lran, Pakistan, Egypt, China in establishing early generation potato seed production and promote Indian potato varieties.
