Dr. Verma specialises in Plant Breeding and seed production. He had established a Potato Development Station in Mandi Distt. and also established Agriculture College at Solan. He was associated with development of two potato varieties Kufri Bahar and Kufri Lalima for Indo-Gangetic plains. Dr. Verma has authored more than 40 research articles.
